Clocks, Clocks, Clocks, boy have we got clocks, and we've got even more on the way! We've got Digital clocks, Analog clocks, Atomic clocks, Radio Controlled clocks, Projection clocks, Wall clocks, Alarm clocks, Travel clocks and lots of clocks with weather functions built in. We've got clocks from Oregon Scientific, La Crosse Technology, and La Crosse Ltd. clocks are on the way (they are sister companies). I've always been the Engineering type, and I like to assign numbers to things to help understand my environment, so you will see clocks here that do a lot of cool things in addition to just telling time. I'm going to try to make it a little easier to find what you are looking for, but with so many multi-function clocks, it'll be a daunting task. The difference between a travel clock and a small alarm clock is a fine line. So is the difference between an alarm clock with indoor/outdoor temperature functions, and an indoor outdoor thermometer with clock functions. Over the next few weeks I'll be sorting these clocks into categories as well as I can. Meanwhile, please see the bottom of the page for definitions of some of the terms used here.

Please note. There is a lot of misunderstanding out there about the function of the atomic clocks. The signal they receive does not propagate well during the day. That's the nature of the signal, not the clock. These clocks are designed to catch the signal when they can, generally in the middle of the night, calibrate themselves, and then run quite accurately until they can catch another signal. When you first put in the batteries, they will most likely not set themselves until the middle of the night. The analog clocks generally tick for a few seconds, advance to 4:00, and wait. The digitals display various things while they wait. That's normal. By morning, it should be correct.
