Wireless Indoor/Outdoor Thermometer

The Timex TX6490 Wireless Indoor/Outdoor Thermometer simultaneously displays the indoor temperature, outdoor temperature, and the current time. This compact wireless digital thermometer also has a minimum/maximum memory for indoor temperature (32°F to 140°F) and also for outdoor temperature (-21.8°F to 157.2°F). The TX6490 can be mounted on a wall or placed on a shelf, table, or desk in a location where its wireless remote temperature sensor is within 80 feet. This product has an accuracy range of with +/- 2° Fahrenheit and comes with a one year warranty.

The Timex TX6490 and its remote sensor both have a semi-metallic silver finish. The main unit has two control push buttons on the front, the "menu or set" button and the "MAX/MIN or RESET" button. The 3-line LCD panel simultaneously displays the indoor and outdoor temperatures in bold digits 1/2 inch tall. Compact in size, the TX6490 is only 4-1/2 inches high by 2-3/4 inches wide by 1-1/8 inches deep.

The Timex TX6490 monitors and displays the indoor temperature and, as reported by the included weather-resistant wireless sensor, the outdoor temperature. Temperatures can be displayed in °F or °C, and the time can be displayed in 12-hour format (with AM or PM) or 24-hour format.
The TX6490's integral memory records maximum and minimum values for both indoor temperature and outdoor temperature. These values are available at the push of a button, and you can simply push another button to clear and reset the memory whenever desired.
The indoor temperature measuring range of the TX6490 is 32°F to 140°F. The outdoor temperature measuring range is -21.8°F to 157.2°F.
The TX6490 main unit requires three AAA (1.5V) batteries and the remote sensor requires two AAA (1.5V) batteries. The batteries are not included, and it is recommended to use lithium batteries for the remote sensor in very cold temperatures.

Extend the integral folding stand to place the TX6490 on a shelf, table, or desk, or mount the unit on a wall by means of the hanger hole on the back of the case (you'll need to provide the nail or screw).
