Connoisseur Instant Read Thermometer

The Taylor #501 Connoisseur Instant Read Thermometer can show you almost instantly the internal temperature of both hot and cold foods. This precision analog instrument features tough, corrosion-resistant stainless steel construction and a measuring range of 20°F to 220°F. The dial portion is 1-7/8 inches wide by 1-5/8 inches high, and the dial itself is 1-1/4 inches in diameter. Overall length is 5-1/2 inches, and the stem (probe) length is 5 inches. The sides of the case have silicone accents for easy handling.

The multi-purpose Taylor #501 Connoisseur Series Instant Read Thermometer has a wide measuring range and can thus be used for both hot and cold foods. You simply insert the probe portion of the 501 into the food. The dial displays the food's temperature in a matter of seconds, and you then remove the thermometer from the food. This thermometer comes with a handy pocket sheath for transportation and storage.

Please Note: When the Taylor #501 needs cleaning, do so with a damp cloth. Grease and other hard-to-remove soil on the metal parts can be removed with a scouring pad. The 501 can be immersed in water, but do not wash it in a dishwasher. Store the 501 in its plastic sheath.

Caution: Do not leave the 501 thermometer in the oven while cooking. If you are roasting meat, for example, remove the meat from the oven and insert the thermometer into the meat to check the internal temperature. Then remove the thermometer from the meat and return the meat to the oven if further roasting is necessary.
