Refrigerator / Freezer Thermometer

The Taylor 1448 Refrigerator/Freezer Thermometer is part of Taylor's Five-Star Commercial line of kitchen products, which are designed for accuracy, readability, and reliability. These products feature heavy duty construction, large dials and displays, bold graphics, and deluxe features. The 1448 attaches easily to the inside of a refrigerator or freezer via a suction cup. When you open the door, the 1448's see-through display shows you the temperature in big, bold digits and in your choice of °F or °C for the unit. A replaceable, long-life lithium battery is included and preinstalled.

The Taylor 1448 Refrigerator/Freezer Thermometer is compact in size. It features a see-through temperature display with bold digits that are 5/8 inch tall for easy viewing (degree tenths are about 5/16 inch). This thermometer is only 3-3/4 inches wide by 1-5/8 inch high, so it won't take up much space in your fridge or freezer.

The 1448 refrigerator/freezer thermometer is really easy to use. On the bottom of the case under a flip-open cover are an ON/OFF switch and a °F or °C selection switch. Just turn the 1448 on, select your temperature unit, and close the cover. Then wet the suction cup with warm water and apply it to a clean surface inside your refrigerator or freezer.
The battery that powers the 1448 is a CR2032 3-volt lithium button cell. If the display becomes dim or otherwise difficult to read, this means that battery replacement is necessary. For the 1448, this is a simple process. You remove two screws to open the battery compartment. Next, you replace the battery, being careful to observe the proper polarity. You then reinsert the screws to close the battery compartment. That's all there is to it.

If you need a compact yet easy-to-read digital refrigerator/freezer thermometer, the good-looking and inexpensive Taylor 1448 may be the perfect choice. It has a big, bold, see-through temperature display, and you can select either °F or °C. It also has a wide measuring range and comes with a preinstalled long-life battery. The 1448 is covered by a 1-year factory warranty.
