Analog Women's Watch with Date and Night Light

While some watches in the Timex Fashion line reflect the latest styling trends, others are inspired by classic watch designs. The Timex T19242 Analog Women's Dress Watch is a member of the Fashion Classics family with styling that is best described as modern classic. Its striking appearance is sure to draw admiring glances on even the dressiest occasions. The band accommodates a wide enough range of wrist sizes that it can be worn by both women and girls (we'd guess age 9 or 10 on up). Unlike some women's watches, this one has a second hand in addition to hour and minute hands.

The case, crown, and buckle of the T19242 watch are silver-colored metal. The case has a polished finish on the sides and a brushed finish on the front, with polished accents around the face and also where the case and band meet. The back of the case is stainless steel. The face of the watch is slate-gray with a semi-metallic finish. The hour and minute hands are silver-colored metal, and the second hand is black. The hour markers (only the 12 is numeric) are unusual in that they are indented into the face rather than raised. Also, the markers are medium-light gray, so they contrast only subtly with the face color. The watchband is black leather with a raised section in its center that extends the styling motif of the case.

Pressing the crown of the T19242 lights its bright blue INDIGLO^® electro-luminescent night light for as long as the crown is depressed. The night light illuminates the entire face evenly so that you can see all three hands clearly.
The T19242 watch has a convenient QUICK-DATE^® feature that allows you to set the date independently of the time. To set the date, you pull the 3-position crown out to its middle position and turn the crown either direction. To set the time, you pull the crown all the way out and turn it either direction. To use the watch's night light, the crown must be in its innermost position for normal timekeeping.

Note: The band on the T19242 watch has 8 holes for the buckle. From our measurements and testing, we figure that this watch will fit wrist sizes from 5 to about 7 inches.
