The Springfield Precision 91001 is a wood trimmed analog weather station that is as functional as it is decorative. The 91001 features three highly readable analog dials, a thermometer, barometer and hygrometer. This indoor weather instrument is intended for placement on an interior wall or desk. If you are looking for a weather instrument that is both accurate and decorative, then the Springfield 91001 Henley II is a great choice. This product comes with a one year warranty.

The Springfield Precision 91001 is highly decorative with its wood trim construction and large easy-to-read dials. The 91001 is larger than most weather stations you see today, measuring a full 16" tall, 5-3/4" wide and 1-1/2 inches deep. Each of its dials are surrounded by faux gold toned brushed metal trim that measure 3-3/4" wide by 3-3/4" tall, while the dials themselves measure just over 2-3/4" in diameter.

Hygrometer:
The readings indicated by the hygrometer represent the percentage of water vapor actually present in the air. The humidity meter indicates relative air moisture. This is the air moisture in the area surrounding the hygrometer and not the outdoor humidity reported by weather bureaus. Air humidity is influenced by heating, air conditioning, direct sunlight, air circulation, etc. A range of 45% to 60% relative humidity is generally considered the most comfortable. Humidity meters respond slowly to sudden, large changes of air humidity, and may take an hour or more before the instrument indicates the actual reading.

Thermometer:
The thermometer will display ambient room temperature. This instrument was calibrated during the manufacturing assembly process and needs no further adjustments.

Barometer:
The barometer measures atmospheric pressure and is affected by the Earth's atmosphere. Although the instrument is located indoors, the pressure indicated by the barometer is practically the same as the outdoor atmospheric pressure. The barometric pressure varies at different altitudes. A typical barometer ranges from 28" to 31" of mercury (95 to 105 kilopascals). However, the amount and the rate of pressure changes are more important than the absolute value. Changes in barometric pressure indicate changes in weather conditions.

A falling barometer indicates that stormy weather is approaching.

A rising barometer indicates that fair weather is approaching.
