Honeywell
TE219ELW
Wireless Indoor Outdoor Thermometer
|
|
The Honeywell TE219ELW Wireless Indoor Outdoor Thermometer
is a wireless indoor outdoor thermometer and
atomic alarm clock with dual alarms.
The four-line display has a pleasant
momentary blue electro-luminescent backlight that is activated by
pressing the snooze/backlight button on top of the unit. For years, Honeywell has been the name to trust for high-quality indoor environmental controls. Now you can have the same
quality in environmental monitoring. For superior environmental
instrumentation, why not go with Honeywell, the name you know you
can trust?
|
|
|

|
The TE219ELW is silver with
black trim (shown here with the blue backlight on) and stands about
6.25 inches tall. It can rest free-standing on a table or shelf, or with the stand
removed, it can hang on a wall.
|
|
-
On the TE219ELW's display, the first line
indicates the temperature for one of up to three outdoor (or other remote)
locations. You can also option the display to scan sequentially
through all active remote locations. Also displayed is a temperature trend
arrow indicating rising, steady, or falling temperature.
-
The second line of the display indicates
indoor temperature. As with the outdoor temperature display, an indoor
temperature trend indicator is included.
-
The third line of the display
shows the
time in hours, minutes and seconds in your choice of 12 or 24 hour
format. Optionally, the time display can be set to indicate hours, minutes,
and weekday. You can select English, French, Spanish, German, or
Italian for the weekday abbreviation.
-
The fourth line of the display
indicates the
month and date.
|
|
|
The clock in the TE219ELW receives radio transmissions from the U.S.
Commerce Department and remains synchronized to the official U.S. atomic
clock for split-second accuracy. Daylight Saving Time changes are
automatic (DST changes may be optionally disabled).
Alarm functions include a weekday alarm, a
single day alarm, and a cold weather pre-alarm.
- The weekday alarm will sound at your
chosen time every day of the week, Monday through Friday.
- The single day alarm is set to sound
once. It can be used to wake at a different time any day of the
week without disturbing the weekday setting.
- The cold weather pre-alarm feature
allows you to set the alarm to go off early if the outdoor temperature
is below freezing. The pre-alarm feature can be set to trigger
the weekday or single alarm early in increments of 15 minutes, from
15 minutes to 90 minutes.
Remote temperature data is
transmitted from up to 100 feet away (depending on obstructions and
interference).
Temperatures can be displayed in either °F
or °C. Minimum and maximum indoor and outdoor temperature readings since the last
reset are stored, and these can be displayed at the
push of a button.
One TS13C remote temperature
transmitter is included. Up to three remote transmitters can be used
with the TE219ELW. Remotes can be
any combination of the following:
- TS13C. The TS13C remote transmits
temperature data and has an LCD display of its own,
displaying the temperature reading that it also
transmits.
- TS13F. The TS13F remote transmits
temperature like the TS13C. The temperature is
actually sensed at the end of a waterproof external probe wire. The TS13F can be used for many applications, including pool, pond, or
spa temperature, refrigerator or freezer temperature, and greenhouse or
soil temperature.
- TS03C. The TS03C is functionally
the same as the TS13C except that the TS03C has no LCD display of its own.

Note: The TE219ELW Wireless Indoor Outdoor
Thermometer has
"atomic" clock functionality. Atomic, or radio controlled,
clocks receive
a radio signal to set themselves. Like any radio receiver, however, they may not
be able to receive the signal if they are in a building with a lot of steel in
the structure, near computers or other electrical equipment that may generate
interference, or if the weather is unsuitable. The signal they receive does not
propagate well during the day. That's the nature of the signal, not the clock.
These clocks are designed to catch the signal when they can, generally in the
middle of the night, calibrate themselves, and then run quite accurately for
days until they can catch another signal. When you first put in the batteries,
they will most likely not set themselves until the middle of the night. That's
normal. By morning, weather permitting, it should be correct. Under less than
ideal conditions, it could take a few days. Also, Daylight Saving Time changes may
not be made the first night if location and weather are not favorable. |

We can handle large orders
for nearly anything we have by special order, and quantity
discounts are available.
For quantities of 10 or more, or if you want more than we have in stock, please
email us at sales@partshelf.com,
we'll get back to you with price and availability. We cannot do this over
the phone as it takes time to investigate each situation.
If there is no order button, most likely there are
availability problems. We expect to be out of stock for more than a few days.
If the shopping cart page indicates that there are no units available, then we are temporarily out of stock. The item should be available in a day or two. To avoid disappointment, our
inventory control system prevents us from taking an order for something we don't have on the shelf.
