The Westclox
15397 Ardmore Twin Bell Alarm Clock is just the alarm clock for the
those that need a super loud bell to awaken on time! The soundest of
sleepers will find it difficult to snooze through this alarm. A classically
styled timepiece, the Westclox Ardmore twin bell makes a soft ticking sound
when keeping time, and makes a loud alarm by a mallet striking the
bells.

The Ardmore Twin Bell Alarm Clock
comes with a brushed pewter metal case, large bells, striker mallet, and handle.
The dial face is white with black hour, minute,
and alarm hands. A contrasting red sweep second hand is easy to
see. The dial is protected with a glass lens. The
hands and hour markers are luminous for easy viewing in the
dark. This clock has a 3-1/2 inch dial face diameter, and its large, black, bold digits are
easy to see. |

The movement in the 15397 is a conventional analog quartz movement,
using one "AA" (1.5V) battery, which is not included. Expected battery life is about 1 year.
To turn the alarm on, you slide the
alarm switch upward. When the alarm time is reached the
bells sound by means of a metal mallet striking them, this continues
until the alarm switch is slid downward, to silence the alarm. As long as the alarm
switch is in the upward position, the
alarm will sound again in twelve hours at the set-point. There is no
snooze feature on this model.
