E9300 P3 International Wireless Weather Station The E9300 P3 International Wireless Weather Station is a quality weather station the whole family can enjoy.  Alongside enough numeric weather data, graphs and icons to please the weatherman in the family, is Wiz Kid.  The Wiz Kid graphic responds to both current and predicted future conditions. Just see what Whiz Kid is wearing, swimsuit, or one of 50 clothing changes, whether he's carrying his umbrella, or whether his hair or scarf are windblown, and know current and future weather information before you even look outside!   Click to Enlarge Click to Enlarge The P3 International E9300 weather station is silver with blue trim.  The console is about 7 3/4 inches high and 6 inches wide without the stand.  The console can be free standing with the stand attached (shown in the picture) or may be hung on a wall.  As the E9300 is entirely battery operated and requires no plug-in power supply, wall hanging is more practical than many weather stations.   On the lower right corner of the console display is the "Wiz Kid" graphic.  Wiz Kid's clothing changes depending on the current outdoor temperature and humidity.  If barometric pressure trends indicate rain, he carries a furled umbrella.  When it is currently raining, he carries an open umbrella.  As wind picks up, Wiz Kid's hair becomes ruffled.  If it is both cold and windy, Wiz Kid's scarf becomes wind blown.   Features at a glance: Weather forecast icons: Weather forecast icons at the top of the display indicate rainy, cloudy, fine or sunny  Forecast is based on barometric pressure trends and predict likely weather conditions 12 to 24 hours into the future  Display of indoor temperature and humidity: Temperature display in degrees F Can be switched over to display the dew point indoors Storage of the minimum and maximum temperature since last manual reset, with the time/date of occurrence Storage of the maximum and minimum humidity since last manual reset, with time/date of occurrence Comfort zone indicator Display of outdoor temperature and humidity: Optional display of temperature, wind chill, or dew point Storage of the minimum and maximum temperature since last manual reset, with the time/date of occurrence Storage of the maximum and minimum humidity since last manual reset, with time/date of occurrence Display of the wind speed: Selectable units: km/h, m/s, mph Storage of the maximum wind strength since last manual reset, with time/date of occurrence Additional graphic display (wind sock) for light, moderate and strong wind Display the amount of rainfall in mm, l/m2 or inches for: Total quantity since the last reset / last hour / last 24 hours Storage of the maximum amount per hour and per day Additional display for commencing rain (instant rain display) Display of the change / trend in air pressure: Graphic display of the changes in the last 24 hours Display of the air pressure trend in five steps: rising steeply, rising, steady, no change, dropping, dropping steeply Symbolic indication of the weather forecast: rainy, cloudy, fine, sunny Indication of the time and date Integrated quartz clock Indication of sunrise and sunset time Based on location data entered during setup, can be calculated in the range of degrees of latitude from -60 to +60 degrees N. Just watch what he is wearing, scarf, umbrella, swim suit, or one of 50 clothing changes, and know the weather before you even look outside. The Wiz Kid's appearance depends on several weather factors, enabling the user to see at a glance what sort of clothing is appropriate for he current weather and to be prepared for changes in weather conditions. Outdoor temperature, humidity, wind and rain are analyzed. In addition, a computed forecast based on conditions influence the Wiz Kid's attire.  The outdoor weather information is measured by remote temperature, humidity and wind speed instruments that mount on the included post outdoors.  Data is transmitted wirelessly to the indoor display console.  Distance from the remote data transmitters to the console can be up to 300 feet in clear air.  Walls, trees and other obstructions between the remote data transmitters and the console will reduce the range somewhat.   The P3 International E9300 weather station comes with stainless steel remote sensor mounting hardware.
