The Maverick ET-71CAN Redi-Chek Remote BBQ & Meat Thermometer is a programmable remote meat thermometer that lets you monitor the internal temperature of meat (or other food) in your oven or barbecue grill wirelessly, in °F or °C, from up to 100 feet (30 meters) away. Whether you're entertaining or just cooking for the family, the Maverick ET-71CAN Redi-Chek meat thermometer can make life a little easier for you. That's because while you're away from the oven or grill tending to your guest's needs, the ET-71CAN is minding the cooking. When your food reaches the temperature you have set, the Maverick ET-71CAN beeps and flashes to let you know your food is ready. Your days of running back and forth between guests and oven or grill, hoping that you haven't waited too long and overcooked the foods, will be history.

The Maverick ET-71CAN Redi-Chek Remote Wireless Meat & BBQ Thermometer consists of two separate units. The wireless sensor/transmitter has a stainless steel probe on a 42-inch (106 cm) wire. You place the transmitter in a location near the oven or BBQ but away from direct heat. The receiver simultaneously displays the set point and food temperatures.

On the receiver, the food and set point temperatures in your choice of °F or °C are all displayed simultaneously. The food and set point temperature digits are about 1/2 inch tall.

Please note that the ET-71CAN comes in a non-recloseable display package. Once the package is opened, it cannot be reclosed for resale. For that reason, once the package is opened, it cannot be returned except for warranty replacement.
