Cooking & Oven Thermometer w/ Timer

The Polder 894-90 is a digital cooking thermometer and timer that monitors the temperature of your food and your oven at the same time. The included wired probe may look like other probes you have seen, but in fact it has dual temperature sensors. The food sensor is the stainless steel stem, while the oven sensor is seemingly hidden inside of an attached stainless steel cylinder. The integral timer can count-up or count-down up to 10-hours and it can be used simultaneously with both the food and oven sensors. The 894-90 has a large, easy-to-read LCD display with bold digits measuring a full 1/2 of an inch tall. This product has a measuring range of 32° to 572°F and it comes with a 1 year warranty.

The Polder 894-90 has a modern and handsome design. Its casing is white with seven control push buttons surrounding its LCD display. The unit measures 3-1/2 inches tall, 2-3/4 inches wide, and 3/4 inches deep. The display measures 1-3/4 inches tall by 1-1/2 inches wide.

The cooking thermometer requires one AAA (1.5V) battery (included). Please be aware that this thermometer's probe is designed for use in conventional ovens, barbeque grills, deep fryers, and smokers up to 392°F (temperatures above that will deteriorate the wire). Do not use the base unit inside an oven, and never use the 894-90 in a microwave oven.

Please Note: The 894-90 should never be submerged or soaked in water and should be kept away from direct heat and precipitation. To prevent cross-contamination, it's a good idea to wash the stainless steel probe sensor after each insertion, but do not immerse the probe in water. Always use heat-resistant gloves when handling the probe sensor or wire during or just after cooking. Do not touch the probe or wire with bare hands.

Polder 366 Replacement Probe for 894-90The Polder 366 is the correct replacement probe for the Polder 894-90 digital cooking & BBQ thermometer. Probes don't last forever, and they can be damaged by grease flareups, leaving you without your thermometer until you get a replacement. We highly recommend keeping a spare on hand. This probe only works with the Polder 894-90.
