Radio-Controlled Atomic Travel Alarm Clock

This compact travel alarm clock features a daily alarm with snooze function, a calendar display, a Blue touch-activated HiGlo™ screen night-light, and the absolute accuracy of ExactSet™ technology. The calendar display shows month, date, and day of the week. The weekday abbreviation is user-selectable for three different languages. An integral hinged table stand swings up for use and folds flat with the clock body for travel.

Whether at home or traveling, you'll appreciate the amazing accuracy and convenient features of this radio-controlled digital clock with calendar and snooze alarm.
Slim and compact, this handsome clock is styled in black and silver with a gray back. The clock uses two AAA alkaline batteries, which are included.

The clock automatically sets time and date by synchronizing to the radio signal (WWVB, 60kHz) from the U.S. atomic clock in Colorado.

The time display is large (9/16 inch; 14.3mm) for easy reading.

Time is displayed in 12-hour mode.

Calendar information is displayed simultaneously with time.

The weekday display is user-selectable for English, French, or Spanish.

The daily alarm is a 2-minute crescendo pattern with 8-minute snooze function.

The electro luminescent HiGlo backlight has a 5-second duration.

Radio signal strength, time zone, and low-battery indications are provided.

Note: This product has "atomic" clock functionality. Atomic, or Radio Controlled clocks receive a radio signal to set themselves. Like any radio receiver however, they may not be able to receive the signal if they are in a building with a lot of steel in the structure, near computers or other electrical equipment that may generate interference, or if the weather is unsuitable. The signal they receive does not propagate well during the day. That's the nature of the signal, not the clock. These clocks are designed to catch the signal when they can, generally in the middle of the night, calibrate themselves, and then run quite accurately for days until they can catch another signal. When you first put in the batteries, they will most likely not set themselves until the middle of the night. That's normal. By morning, weather permitting, it should be correct. Under less than ideal conditions, it could take a few days. Daylight savings time changes may not be made the first night if location and weather are not favorable.
