Scientific RM313PNA
Atomic Projection Alarm Clock with Calendar, in Silver
|
|
|
Cool,
curvaceous, and colorful, this lighthearted member of the ExactSet™
family has all of the amazing attributes and accuracy of other ExactSet
alarm clocks. The Oregon Scientific RM313PNA
Atomic Projection Alarm Clock
sets itself automatically, self-corrects for Daylight Saving Time, and is
so precise it meets O.A.T.S. stock-trading requirements. The extra bonus?
It projects the time in softly glowing red numbers on the wall or ceiling!
The RM313PNA
is designed to appeal to the younger set, but we think many grownups will
get a kick out of it, too. The clock features a daily crescendo alarm with
8-minute snooze function, a calendar display, a bright blue HiGlo™
backlight--and the absolute accuracy of ExactSet technology.

Kids
from 3 to 103 will surely enjoy the cool appearance and complete
accuracy of the Oregon Scientific RM313PNA Atomic Projection Clock
with calendar display and snooze alarm. This is the silver
version. It's a perfect gift for someone you know--or treat
yourself!

The top line of the RM313PNA
projection clock's two-line LCD window shows the current time along with
either seconds or weekday. The weekday abbreviation is user-selectable for
three different languages. The current time can also be projected on a
wall or ceiling. The second line of the display shows the month and date
(or the alarm setting) and a U.S. map icon with the selected time zone.
Included with the clock are the two required AA batteries plus a wall
plug-in power supply for continuous use of the projection feature.
Features
and Benefits:
- Incredibly accurate
radio-controlled clock automatically synchronizes itself to the U.S.
atomic clock in Colorado. The clock automatically initiates a WWVB
time-signal search 6 times every 24 hours.
- Clock automatically
adjusts for Daylight Saving Time.
- Radio reception can be
disabled if you wish to manually set the clock.
- Two LCD time display
modes are available via the clock's MODE switch:
- current time (hh:mm
and AM/PM) in 12-hour format with seconds.
- current time (hh:mm
and AM/PM) in 12-hour format with weekday.
- Weekday abbreviation is
user-selectable for any of three languages: English, French, or
Spanish.
- Month and date (LCD
display) are shown simultaneously with the time.
- Projected time is the
current time (hh:mm and AM/PM).
- Projection
duration is 5 seconds when the clock is battery powered. Projection is
continuous when the clock is powered by the included ac adapter and
the PROJECTION ON switch is set to On.
- U.S. map icon shows the
selected time zone (Pacific, Mountain, Central, or Eastern).
- Additional icons in the
LCD window are a radio-reception icon, an alarm icon that appears when
the alarm is set, and an alarm-time icon that appears when the alarm
time is displayed.
- Alarm is a 2-step
crescendo pattern with 2-minute duration and an 8-minute snooze
function.
- A bright blue HiGlo
electro-luminescent backlight is provided for night viewing of the LCD
display.
- The clock is designed for
placement on a nightstand, table, shelf, or other flat surface.
- Two AA batteries and an
ac adapter are included with the clock. The batteries are
preinstalled. The ac adapter must be used for continuous projection.

Note:
This product has "atomic" clock functionality. Atomic, or Radio Controlled clocks receive
a radio signal to set themselves. Like any radio receiver however, they may not
be able to receive the signal if they are in a building with a lot of steel in
the structure, near computers or other electrical equipment that may generate
interference, or if the weather is unsuitable. The signal they receive does not
propagate well during the day. That's the nature of the signal, not the clock.
These clocks are designed to catch the signal when they can, generally in the
middle of the night, calibrate themselves, and then run quite accurately for
days until they can catch another signal. When you first put in the batteries,
they will most likely not set themselves until the middle of the night. That's
normal. By morning, weather permitting, it should be correct. Under less than
ideal conditions, it could take a few days. Daylight savings time changes may
not be made the first night if location and weather are not favorable.

We can handle large orders
for nearly anything we have by special order, and quantity
discounts are available.
For quantities of 10 or more, or if you want more than we have in stock, please
email us at sales@partshelf.com,
we'll get back to you with price and availability. We cannot do this over
the phone as it takes time to investigate each situation.
If there is no order button, most likely there are
availability problems. We expect to be out of stock for more than a few days.
If the shopping cart page indicates that there are no units available, then we are temporarily out of stock. The item should be available in a day or two. To avoid disappointment, our
inventory control system prevents us from taking an order for something we don't have on the shelf.
