clock, weather forecaster, and wireless indoor outdoor thermometer
functionality. Designed by the world renowned Italian designer Stefano
Giovannoni, this wireless weather station features a graphical weather

has an easy-to-use rotary dial for navigation between information
readouts.

Sleek design,
sophisticated technology
The
Oregon Scientific BAR383HGA Giovannoni
Wireless Weather Station has a unique look.
Before putting the batteries in, the unit appears to be a
clear Lucite box that is black on the inside. When batteries
are inserted, time, temperature and weather forecast data appears
in silver against the black face. When the Mode/Snooze
button on top is pressed, the momentary backlight illuminates, the
face is illuminated in dark blue, and the time, temperature and
weather data illuminates in a brighter blue (as illustrated in the
picture). The BAR383HGA stands about 5.9
inches tall and 3.15 inches wide.
|
|
|
|
Clock Display - At
the top of the face is the clock display in your choice of 12 or 24 hour
format. The clock display may be set to one of the following four
modes:
- Clock with seconds
- Clock with weekday
- Date with weekday
- Alarm time
The hour and minute digits are large at
nearly 3/4 inch tall. Seconds, AM/PM indicator and weekday characters are
smaller at about 5/16 inch. The BAR383HGA has a single alarm with an 8
minute snooze function.
Directly below the time display are icons
to indicate alarm status, temperature channel being displayed, and signal
reception.
Weather Display - Below the time
display is the weather forecast display. One of five weather forecast
icons will be displayed depending upon changes in barometric pressure and
temperature. The forecast is for the next 12 to 24 hours.
Temperature and Humidity Display -
At the bottom of the display are temperature (in your choice of °F or °C)
and humidity readings. You may choose between indoor, or one of up
to five remote locations to be displayed. One model RTGR383A remote
sender for one remote location is included, additional senders may be
purchased separately for up to four additional remote locations. The
RTGR remote has a temperature and humidity display of it's own. Range from
the remote sender to the display is up to 230 feet with no
obstructions. Obstructions such as walls or windows between the
sender and the display will reduce range. Digit size of the
temperature and humidity data is about 5/16
inch.

We can handle large orders
for nearly anything we have by special order, and quantity
discounts are available.
For quantities of 10 or more, or if you want more than we have in stock, please
email us at sales@partshelf.com,
we'll get back to you with price and availability. We cannot do this over
the phone as it takes time to investigate each situation.
If there is no order button, most likely there are
availability problems. We expect to be out of stock for more than a few days.
If the shopping cart page indicates that there are no units available, then we are temporarily out of stock. The item should be available in a day or two. To avoid disappointment, our
inventory control system prevents us from taking an order for something we don't have on the shelf.
