You will receive a La Crosse TX60U-SET that includes a serialized and calibrated temperature sensor, and a NIST traceable certificate of calibration that includes temperature accuracy data for the included sensor (to save cost, the humidity function is not calibrated). The calibration process is tailored to meet the recommendations of the Center for Disease Control for use as a serum storage thermometer. It also has applications in food storage as well when temperature accuracy needs to be highly accurate, and/or certified as NIST traceable.
