Beef & Poultry Mini Thermometer 4-Pack Set

The Maverick RT-04 Beef and Poultry Mini Thermometer 4-Pack Set includes two thermometers for beef, indicating rare, medium and well-done, and two for poultry, indicating the ideal breast and thigh meat temperatures. Leave them in foods while they cook on the grill or in the oven, or insert one for an instant read, their heavy duty glass lenses can take the heat.

The Maverick RT-04 Meat Thermometer Set lets you check the internal temperature of both beef and poultry by inserting their 2-inch long stems. The RT-04 set is designed for use in conventional ovens and barbeque grills. The RT-04 thermometers are constructed of durable stainless steel with a shatter-proof glass lense over the dial.

The Maverick RT-04 set lets you safely check the internal temperature of each piece of meat and poultry as it cooks. The dial indicators on the two included steak thermometers read to 170°F while the included poultry thermometers read to 180°F, which are USDA recommended internal temperatures.

Because the stem (probe) of the RT-04 is only 2-inches long, this thermometer may not be suitable for use in larger size turkeys and in some poultry loaves. For these, use a cooking thermometer with a longer probe that will reach the center of the meat.

Since this set includes 4 thermometers, its more affordable and convenient than buying 4 individual thermometers separately.

Please Note: This thermometer should never be used in microwave ovens. Also, the RT-04 should never be submerged or soaked and is not dishwasher-safe. To clean it, you simply wash the probe in hot, soapy water. To prevent cross-contamination, it's a good idea to wash the probe after each insertion.
