Lorus LR0210 Analog Men's Watch

Lorus watches are manufactured by the world-famous Seiko Watch Corporation. The Lorus brand was introduced in Europe in 1982, and Lorus timepieces are now available practically worldwide. Lorus watches are famous for offering high style combined with high technology, all at highly affordable prices. The Lorus LR0210 Analog Men's Watch is a large, simply styled watch with big, bold hour and minute hands and hour numbers on the face. Neither ultra-dressy or ultra-sporty, this watch will look great on your wrist when you're wearing blue jeans, a business suit, or anything in between.

The LR0210 has a silver-tone metal case with a brushed finish and a protected crown. The watch face is round in shape and off-white in color, and the crystal is flat. The three hands and the numeric hour markers are black. With its large hour and minute hands and hour numerals, this watch may be a good choice for men with mild vision impairment. A day and date window takes the place of the hour marker at the 3 o'clock position. Small 24-hour numerals are located just to the inside of the large 12-hour numerals. The band on this watch is brown genuine leather with leatherette backing and a brushed stainless steel buckle. The back of the watch case is also stainless steel.

The instructions for this watch are generic (and in 8 different languages!). Here are a few things you'll want to know that may not be immediately apparent from the instructions:

The LR0210 has a 3-position crown for setting time, day, and date. Even though this watch does not have subdials with hands for day and date, you should follow the "3 EYE" instructions. The day and date windows operate just like the day and date subdial hands on 3 EYE models.

When you set the day, you'll be able to select (by turning the crown) either French or English for the weekday abbreviation. The Sunday abbreviations, by the way, appear in red, and those for Monday through Saturday appear in black.

With Lorus watches, you get Seiko's timekeeping experience and technological expertise plus a whole lot of style. What you don't get is a designer price tag. If you're in need of an inexpensive men's analog wristwatch that you can read easily and wear with confidence on practically any occasion, the Lorus LR0210 day/date watch definitely merits your consideration. This timepiece comes with a manufacturer's 1-year international limited warranty.

Crystal is flat, not curved. The material of the crystal is not indicated on the package or in the instructions, but since similar models have scratch-resistant mineral glass crystals, we suspect that this watch does, too.
Brown band of genuine leather with leatherette backing and brushed stainless buckle.
Battery type is SR626SW.
Water-resistant to 100 feet (30 meters) if crown is not pulled out when submerged.
