La
Crosse Technology TX6U
Remote Sensor/Transmitter
|
|
The many La Crosse
Technology weather and temperature stations that display outdoor
temperature or temperature and humidity require wireless remote sensors to sense the
weather data and transmit it to the station. All stations include the
necessary sensor. Several stations come with one sensor but can
receive signals from up to three, or even five, in which case any additional sensors
desired must be ordered separately.

TX6U
Specifications:

|
|
The
instructions for your La Crosse Technology weather station specify
which wireless remote sensors can be used with that station.
The TX6U
Temperature Sensor reports outdoor temperature (or any other
location whose temperature you wish to know) to the station. This
sensor does not have an LCD temperature display for viewing at the location
where it is installed.
This
sensor is wall-mounted, transmits 433 MHz signals and typically
operates on two AA alkaline batteries (not included). Average battery life is approximately
one year.
The TX6U
is particularly well suited to extended low temperature
operation. As the TX6U uses AA batteries, you may use Lithium
AA cells, which provide superior operation in sub-zero temperature
conditions.
Note:
The TX6U is a direct replacement for the previous model TX2U.
The TX6U, with its AA batteries, can provide superior performance in
cold weather.

We can handle large orders
for nearly anything we have by special order, and quantity
discounts are available.
For quantities of 10 or more, or if you want more than we have in stock, please
email us at sales@partshelf.com,
we'll get back to you with price and availability. We cannot do this over
the phone as it takes time to investigate each situation.
If there is no order button, most likely there are
availability problems. We expect to be out of stock for more than a few days.
If the shopping cart page indicates that there are no units available, then we are temporarily out of stock. The item should be available in a day or two. To avoid disappointment, our
inventory control system prevents us from taking an order for something we don't have on the shelf.
