Synthetic Hair ThermoHygrometer/Barometer

Precision-crafted in Germany, the La Crosse Ltd. L89-206 is a highly accurate analog instrument that measures the current temperature, humidity, and barometric pressure. The L89-206 shows the relative humidity and temperature on its top scale and the barometric pressure on its bottom scale. When the current temperature and humidity levels are in the recommended comfort zone, the two needles will meet across a black triangular graphic imprinted on the face. This instrument has a high quality oak wood casing, and brass-tone trim around its dials.

The L89-206 has dual 2-1/2 diameter dials, and measures 6-1/2 inches tall by 3-3/4 inches wide. To the untrained eye, the thermometer and hygrometer dial may appear to be misaligned, but since the two scales are measured differently, they cannot be perfectly symmetrical. Not too big or too small this precision analog instrument is perfect for the weather enthusiast and is well suited for the home, office, or workroom.

Barometer:
The barometer measures the atmospheric pressure in hekto-pascal (hPa), Millibar (mb) or inch (in). The atmospheric pressure corresponds with the weight of the surrounding air masses and depends on the weather situation and the local altitude. The observation of the changes in the atnmospheric pressure allows you to forecast future weather conditions. Simply mark the current air pressure with the movable needle and observe the changes.
Thermometer:
The thermometer measures the temperature in degree Centigrade or Fahrenheit. By controlling the indoor temperature you simply feel better and save heating costs by up to 6% for every degree less in temperature.

Hygrometer:
The hygrometer measures the relative humidity of air. Dry air around your house is bad for your health, as well as plants, wooden floors and antique furniture. The right temperature and air humidity are different depending on the specific use of a room.
