Digital Atomic Travel Alarm Clock

The Equity Time, SkyScan 31420 is a compact folding atomic travel alarm clock that sets itself automatically, adjusts automatically for Daylight Saving Time (DST), and is amazingly accurate. The 31420 displays the time with seconds, date, day of the week, and indoor temperature. The display has a nice momentary electro-luminescent amber backlight. The alarm sounds for 1 minute. An available Snooze function turns the alarm off for 5 minutes, after which the alarm sounds again.

The SkyScan 31420's plastic case is silver and black, and the control buttons are dark grey. An Atomic tower & waves icon to the right of the time display indicates successful reception of the WWVB time synchronization radio signal from the U.S. atomic clock. Additional indications are for PM and alarm on.

At about 2-1/2 inches wide and 3-3/4 inches high, the 31420 Alarm Clock folds down small enough to travel conveniently. The LCD display has hour and minutes digits about 1/2" tall, Seconds are about 1/4", date, day and temperature about 3/16".

Time may be displayed in 12 or 24 hour format.
Atomic time function operates within the continental United States, EST, CST, MST and PST time zones.
Automatic DST changes can be disabled for locations that do not observe DST.
Clock can be manually set if WWVB signal cannot be received.
Radio tower and waves icon indicates successful signal reception..
Alarm sounds for 1 minute, and a 5 minute Snooze function can be activated if desired.
Powered by 2 AAA batteries, expected battery life is about 1 year.
