In your home or office, on your patio or porch, or by the pool, get the time, temperature, and humidity at a glance. The Acu-Rite 00919 Tritan Clock with Thermometer and Hygrometer is a traditionally styled analog wall clock whose metal case has a brushed copper finish. This clock features both an analog thermometer and an analog hygrometer on the lower half of its face. This clock will look great either indoors or in a sheltered and shaded location outdoors. (Mounting this clock where the sun shines on it even part-time will cause an inaccurate temperature reading and possibly an incorrect hygrometer reading. Also, the clock should be protected from direct precipitation.)

The Acu-Rite 00919 Tritan Clock with Thermometer and Hygrometer has a metal case with a brushed copper finish. This analog wall clock's styling is strictly traditional, so the integral thermometer and hygrometer are also analog dial-type. Under the flat plastic lens is an off-white (some might say antique white) face with black hands, dial pointers, and serif-type numerals. This clock will look great in both indoor and sheltered outdoor applications.

The manufacturer calls the 00919 a 14-inch clock, but that's actually rounded up to the next whole number. We actually measured it at 13-1/2 inches (343 mm) in overall diameter, with a face diameter of about 10-1/2 inches (267 mm). The big, bold hour numerals are 1 inch (25.4 mm) tall for easy viewing. The analog thermometer reads from -40°F to +140°F, and the analog hygrometer indicates relative humidity from 0 to 100 percent. The round dials of both the thermometer and hygrometer are 2-1/4 inches (57 mm) in diameter.
The 00919 Tritan Clock uses a highly accurate quartz movement. You simply insert one AA (1.5V) battery, turn a knob to set the time, and that's all there is to clock setup. The battery is not included and must be obtained separately. We recommend using an alkaline battery. Although expected battery life is not specified, we believe from our experience with this type of clock that the battery should last a year or more.
Note on Using the 00919 Outdoors: When the temperature is expected to fall below freezing, you may want to bring the 00919 indoors. This is because in low temperatures, an alkaline battery may not provide enough current to power the clock motor, in which case the clock will lose its accuracy. If you wish, you may want to try replacing the alkaline battery with a lithium battery and see how the clock operates in the cold. Lithium batteries generally work down to about -40°F/C.
If your home or office decor is traditional and you're looking for a medium-size analog wall clock that also tells you the temperature and humidity, you should definitely take a good look at the Acu-Rite 00919 Tritan Clock with Thermometer and Hygrometer.
