Cason C88A
Atomic Projection Alarm Clock
|
|
The Cason C88A Atomic Projection Alarm Clock
is full of features. It displays accurate radio-controlled time,
optional continuous time projection (with included AC adaptor), and indoor temperature on its large
2-7/8" by 1-3/4" LCD
display. In addition, the C88A projects an alternating pattern
of time on the ceiling or wall.
|
|
|

|
Classically and handsomely styled, the
Cason C88A has a semi-metallic plastic molded casing. To the
right side of its display is an adjustable projector with
rotator knob as well as a focus knob. It's four control push
buttons are on the front of the unit below the display.
|
|
|
|
When operating on batteries alone (without
the AC adapter), touching the snooze button also activates the
projected display for 5 seconds. When using the
included AC adaptor, time may be set to project continuously.
The Cason C88A has single
alarm functionality, with a snooze function. The clock may
be set for a single time, enabled or disabled. When the

Note:
This product has "atomic" clock functionality. Atomic, or Radio Controlled clocks receive
a radio signal to set themselves. Like any radio receiver however, they may not
be able to receive the signal if they are in a building with a lot of steel in
the structure, near computers or other electrical equipment that may generate
interference, or if the weather is unsuitable. The signal they receive does not
propagate well during the day. That's the nature of the signal, not the clock.
These clocks are designed to catch the signal when they can, generally in the
middle of the night, calibrate themselves, and then run quite accurately for
days until they can catch another signal. When you first put in the batteries,
they will most likely not set themselves until the middle of the night. That's
normal. By morning, weather permitting, it should be correct. Under less than
ideal conditions, it could take a few days. Daylight savings time changes may
not be made the first night if location and weather are not favorable.

We can handle large orders
for nearly anything we have by special order, and quantity
discounts are available.
For quantities of 10 or more, or if you want more than we have in stock, please
email us at sales@partshelf.com,
we'll get back to you with price and availability. We cannot do this over
the phone as it takes time to investigate each situation.
If there is no order button, most likely there are
availability problems. We expect to be out of stock for more than a few days.
If the shopping cart page indicates that there are no units available, then we are temporarily out of stock. The item should be available in a day or two. To avoid disappointment, our
inventory control system prevents us from taking an order for something we don't have on the shelf.
