The Acu-Rite 00891 Digital Thermometer with Humidity Gauge and Clock simultaneously displays the indoor temperature, the outdoor temperature, and the indoor relative humidity. In addition, this thermo/hygrometer contains a precision digital quartz clock, and the time can be displayed as an alternative to the indoor temperature. This compact unit also features a minimum/maximum memory for temperatures and humidity and an LED backlight for the LCD display. The unit can be mounted on a wall or placed on a shelf, table, or desk.

Acu-Rite 00891 Wired Digital Thermometer

The Acu-Rite 00891 Digital Thermometer with Humidity Gauge is titanium in color. Its backlit 3-line LCD display indicates the indoor temperature or the time, the outdoor temperature, and the indoor relative humidity. This unit features a min/max memory for the two temperatures and the humidity. Very compact in size, the unit is just 4-1/4 inches tall by 2-5/8 inches wide by 1/2 inch deep. Use the integral folding stand for placement on a shelf, table, or desk, or mount the unit on a wall by means of the included two-sided tape or mounting bracket.

This wired thermo/hygrometer monitors and displays the indoor temperature and, as reported by the included weather-resistant sensor (on a 10-foot cord), the outdoor temperature. The temperatures can be displayed in either °F or °C, as selected by a switch on the unit. The indoor relative humidity is displayed in percent on the bottom line of the LCD display.

The 00891's integral memory records maximum and minimum values for indoor temperature, outdoor temperature, and indoor relative humidity. These values are available at the push of a button, and you can easily clear and reset the memory if desired.

The 00891 also features a precision quartz clock. Please note that this clock is a regular digital quartz clock--not a radio-controlled, or "atomic," clock. The time can be displayed in 12-hour or 24-hour mode as an pushbutton-selectable alternative to the indoor temperature.

Temperature measuring range of the 00891 is -58° to 158°F (-50° to +70°C).

The required AAA (1.5V) battery is included. This battery is the carbon-zinc type, but we strongly recommend an alkaline cell at replacement time.

If you're looking for a compact digital thermometer/hygrometer, the Acu-Rite 00891 offers some nice features at a modest price. Similar in size and identical in functionality to the 00891, the 00887 has a somewhat larger LCD display but no backlight.
