The Acu-Rite 00888
Digital Indoor/Outdoor Thermometer displays the indoor
temperature or the outdoor temperature at the push of a
button--and in big, bold numbers a full 5/8 inch
tall. This extremely compact unit also features a minimum/maximum memory for
both indoor and outdoor temperatures and an LED backlight for the LCD display. The unit can be mounted on a wall
or placed on a shelf, table, or
desk.

The Acu-Rite
00888 Digital Indoor/Outdoor Thermometer is titanium in color. Its
big, bold LCD display indicates the indoor
temperature or, at the push of a button, the outdoor
temperature. This unit also features a min/max memory for the
two temperatures and a display backlight. Very compact in
size, the unit is only 2-1/4 inches tall by 3-1/4 inches
wide by 5/8 inch deep. Use the integral folding stand for placement on
a shelf, table, or desk, or mount the unit on a wall by means of
the included Velcro fastener. |

This
wired digital thermometer monitors and displays the indoor
temperature and, as reported by the included weather-resistant sensor (on a
10-foot cord), the outdoor temperature. One temperature is
displayed at a time, and the other can be selected instantly at
the push of a button. Temperatures can be displayed in either °F or °C,
as selected by a switch on the unit. The
00888's
integral memory records maximum and minimum values for both indoor
temperature and outdoor temperature. These values are
available at the push of a button, and you can simply push
another button to clear and
reset the memory if desired.
Temperature
measuring range of the 00888 is -58° to 158°F (-50° to
+70°C). The
required AAA (1.5V) battery is included. This battery is the
carbon-zinc type, but we strongly recommend an alkaline cell at replacement time. If
you need an inexpensive digital indoor/outdoor thermometer that takes up
very little space, the Acu-Rite 00888 certainly deserves a good
look. Despite its small size, its LCD display is big and bold. Also, it includes a temperature min/max
memory and an LCD display backlight.
The 00888 is great for any room in the
house--or the office or greenhouse--and fits almost anywhere. It comes with a 1-year factory
warranty.
