Acu-Rite 75110
Pro Series
Professional Wireless Weather Station
|
|
With
the Acu-Rite
75110 Wireless Weather Station,
you can now monitor
the indoor temperature and humidity, as well as the outdoor
temperature, humidity, wind speed data, and rain accumulation in and outside of
your home or office. The Acu-Rite 75110 even has an
integral atomic radio-controlled clock that provides
split-second accuracy. One of the advanced functions of the
75110 is the weather alert feature, which allows you to set
alerts for the displayed weather categories. Every sensor necessary for total weather monitoring is included --
temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, wind speed and direction, and
rainfall. The indoor main unit has a bright orange
backlight which (on AC power) can optionally be left on all the
time, or turned on temporarily when battery powered. The main
unit measures 9.25" wide by 8" tall-- perfect for desktop or wall-mount use
anywhere.

The Acu-Rite 75110 Wireless Weather
Station is black with semi-metallic silver trim surrounding
the front panel. This station can rest free-standing on a
table or shelf, or with the stand folded in, it can hang on
a wall. The control pushbuttons are on the front panel, to
the right of the display.

Display:
The Acu-Rite 75110 has a digital LCD display that is
split into three sections. The top section, starting from the
left, shows the outdoor temperature, outdoor humidity, rainfall
accumulation, seasonal (heat index, wind chill, dew point), and
wind speed and direction. The larger,
middle section shows the future weather forecast, currently
selected display for low and high temperatures, barometric
pressure, and weather category display for viewing in larger
digits. The bottom section of the
display shows indoor temperature, indoor humidity, atomic clock,
and the current month and date.
The
Wireless Temperature & Humidity Sensor:
Sends temperature, humidity and atomic clock signal to main
unit via a 433 mhz wireless signal. This sensor should be
mounted out of direct sunlight to ensure accurate readings.
Powered by 2 "AA" batteries.
The
Wireless Wind Sensor:
Sends wind speed and direction to main unit via a 433 mhz
wireless signal. This sensor should be mounted high enough to
accurately record and transmit wind information. Powered by 2
"AA" batteries.
The
Wireless Self-Emptying Rain Collector:
Sends rain totals to main unit via a 433 mhz wireless
signal. Collection funnel is extra wide for more accurate
rainfall totals. Foreign debris should be cleaned out of the
collector funnel regularly. Powered by 2 "AA"
batteries.

Note:
This product has "atomic" clock functionality. Atomic, or Radio Controlled clocks receive
a radio signal to set themselves. Like any radio receiver however, they may not
be able to receive the signal if they are in a building with a lot of steel in
the structure, near computers or other electrical equipment that may generate
interference, or if the weather is unsuitable. The signal they receive does not
propagate well during the day. That's the nature of the signal, not the clock.
These clocks are designed to catch the signal when they can, generally in the
middle of the night, calibrate themselves, and then run quite accurately for
days until they can catch another signal. When you first put in the batteries,
they will most likely not set themselves until the middle of the night. That's
normal. By morning, weather permitting, it should be correct. Under less than
ideal conditions, it could take a few days. Daylight savings time changes may
not be made the first night if location and weather are not favorable.

We can handle large orders
for nearly anything we have by special order, and quantity
discounts are available.
For quantities of 10 or more, or if you want more than we have in stock, please
email us at sales@partshelf.com,
we'll get back to you with price and availability. We cannot do this over
the phone as it takes time to investigate each situation.
If there is no order button, most likely there are
availability problems. We expect to be out of stock for more than a few days.
If the shopping cart page indicates that there are no units available, then we are temporarily out of stock. The item should be available in a day or two. To avoid disappointment, our
inventory control system prevents us from taking an order for something we don't have on the shelf.
