Acu-rite 00892A1 Digital Wired Indoor/Outdoor Thermometer The Acu-Rite 00892A1 simultaneously displays the indoor temperature, the outdoor temperature (via wired probe), and the current time. This compact unit also features a minimum/maximum memory for indoor/outdoor themperatures, and an LED backlight for the LCD display. The unit can be mounted on a wall or placed on a shelf, table, or desk. This wired thermometer monitors and displays the indoor temperature and, as reported by the included weather-resistant sensor (on a 10-foot cord), the outdoor temperature. The temperatures can be displayed in either °F or °C, as selected by a switch on the unit. The 00892A1's integral memory records maximum and minimum values for indoor temperature, and outdoor temperature. These values are available at the push of a button, and you can easily clear and reset the memory if desired. The 00892A1 also features a precision quartz clock. Please note that this clock is a regular digital quartz clock--not a radio-controlled, or "atomic," clock. The time can be displayed in 12-hour or 24-hour mode as an pushbutton-selectable alternative to the indoor temperature. Temperature measuring range of the 00892A1 is -58° to 158°F (-50° to +70°C).
