Acu-Rite 00832 Weather Forecaster
w/ Indoor Outdoor Thermometer

The Acu-Rite 00832 Wireless Weather Forecaster is perfect for those who want a simple, easy-to-read device that gives them the current indoor/outdoor temperature, future weather forecast, and minimum/maximum temperatures. Since the 00832 doesn't have all of the extra features, there is more space on its 3-section LCD panel for larger digits giving you weather information with just a glance. The 00832 has an outdoor temperature measuring range of -40°F to 158°F.

The 00832 has a black finish surrounding its LCD display, which measures 3-1/3 inches tall by 2-1/3 inches wide.

Starting with the upper right of the 00832, we have the weather trend arrow indicator. Below this, the future weather forecast is shown as a large graphic that is just under an inch tall. Below this the indoor temperature and outdoor temperature are prominently displayed in 3/4 inch digits with tenths shown in 1/4 inch digits.

The included wireless sensor can function from up to 100 feet away from the main unit and it has a temperature measuring range of -40°F to 158°F (-40°C to 70°C). There are 2 placement options for the wireless sensor. You may hang it on a wall using one of the two integrated hang holes, or use string (not included) to hang it from a suitable locations like a well covered tree branch.

Future Forecast Icon:

The future forecast feature automatically gives you the predicted weather forecast icon for the next 12 to 24 hours based on an advanced algorithm that analyzes barometric pressure changes and temperature. This weather station forecaster will provide the most accurate forecast that a single station instrument can provide. The different forecast icons are:

14 Day Learning Mode:

This weather station has a patented "fourteen day learning mode" calibration process. During this learning mode the weather station will make altitude calculations that may affect the accuracy of the forecast. Once the 14 day learning mode process is complete, the learning mode icon will disappear and the weather forecast should be ready for superior operation.

MIN/MAX Memory:

This weather station features a MIN/MAX memory feature which records the MINIMUM and MAXIMUM indoor and outdoor temperature readings.

Trend Indicator Icons:

The main unit features arrow icons for indicating a falling, steady, or rising temperature. This feature is shown for both the indoor and outdoor temperature.
